<ul>Sri Lankan drums are mainly produced in Kooragala at Udunuwara divisional secretariat,15 km southwest of Kandy. This little village is home to the unique traditional craftsmanship of making traditional drums. They are producing upcountry, low country, and Sabaragamuwa drums and other traditional musical instruments.<br>
<br>They produced the body of the drum mostly by the Jack tree, and the skin is made out of the animal hide. Do not forget to visit this little village on your trip to Kandy to explore unique traditional craftsmanship.
