DAY - 3 (Kandy - Knuckles) |

Approximately 2 hours’ drive.</li><li>Start nature trail to Meemure, the remotest village in Sri Lanka surrounded by the Knuckles mountain range and Nitro cave, a largely hidden cave at the deep in the southern parts of the mountain range.</li><li>Nitro Cave is the place where hundreds of thousands of bats for many hundred thousand years had made this cave a rich deposit of saltpeter. </li><li>The trail to nitro caves starts at the highest altitude point called Corbett’s Gap. The trail winds down through the unique eco-system of the Knuckles mountain range. </li><li>Picnic meals and refreshments will be provided.</li><li>BBQ dinner and overnight stay in a mobile tented camp.</li></ul> |

You will be able to see leopards, elephants, and other animals and birds. A lot of residents and migratory birds and crocodiles would be able to see the “Kumana Villu” area. </li><li>Mahalenama cave was inhibited by “Nittaewo” the strange lost race in Sri Lanka</li><li>Afternoon visit Kudumbigala Buddhist Monastery at the top of a rock, about 26 Km south of Arugam Bay. It is about 2 hours hike to the top of the rock and the view from the top is amazing. </li><li>On the way from kudumbugala to Arugam Bay, a unique village of Panama is found. This is the one and the only village that inhabitants though predominantly Sinhala are all Tamil speaking (as a mother tongue).
