761	79	DAY - 1 (Airport - Udawalawe)		22	<ul><li>At the arrival lounge of Colombo Airport, you will be received by your chauffeur guide who will take care of you for next 5 Days and transfer you to Udawalawe. Approximately 4 hours’ drive.</li><li>After a few hours of relaxation at the hotel, go to the Elephant Transit Home to see baby elephants being fed milk. Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home is a care centre for orphaned elephant calves until they are independent and capable enough to be released back into the wild.</li><li>During their feeding time, there are many cute baby elephants on parade. The baby elephants are brought to their "milk station" in groups of 3-4 at a time. It's cute to see them racing to the milk.</li><li>Then, take a wildlife safari in Udawalawe National Park.</li><li>The Udawalawe National Park is well-known for its resident population of Sri Lankan elephants, and it is not rare to see herds gather to feed and bathe at waterholes while on even the shortest safaris in the park. There are nearly 500 elephants in the park, which can be found in herds of 50. 762	79	DAY - 2 (Udawalawe - Ella)		50	<ul><li>Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer you to Ella. Approximately 2 hours’ drive.</li><li>Stop along the way to see the Buduruwagala rock statues. Seven figures are caving in the rock face. One is a 15.5-meter-tall Buddha statue, and the others are Mahayana Buddhist figures such as Avalokitesvara, Maitreya, Manjushi, and Tara.</li><li>Ella is surrounded by massive peaks covered in luscious green tea plantations and cloud forests. It is about 1,141 m in height, not that much higher than the famous Adam’s Peak recorded at 2,243 m in height and a considerably tougher and longer hike. Therefore, hiking to Little Adam’s Peak is not that difficult and it takes only 3 hours for both up and down. 765	79	DAY - 5 (Weligama - Airport)		78	<ul><li>Transfer to Mirissa harbour early in the morning, around 6.30 a.m., for a whale-watching tour.</li><li>The whales migrate from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere and can be seen a few kilometres away from the Mirissa beach during the months of November to April. During this period, the ocean is calm, and the chances of spotting whales are 98%. </li><li>Blue whales are most often seen. You can also see sperm whales, fin whales, Bryde's whales, and short-finned whales. The tour will take 3 to 5 hours.</li><li>After that, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
