Bogoda Wooden Bridge built across the Gallanda Oya at the ancient Kandy – Badulla road is the only surviving wooden bridge in Sri Lanka. This exclusive bridge with a 15 m length and 1.5 m breadth including a 2.4 m tall roof was built in the 16th century. This was entirely built from wood even for the fixing material. It is located 17 Km west of Badulla.
