Kalpitiya Dolphin watching is also world-famous. It is one of the best places in the world to witness the pods of the spinner, bottlenose, and Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins submerging and re-emerging from the sparkling water. The Sperm Whales and the occasional Blue Whale are also can be seen in the Kalpitiya.
