Approximately it is about 4 hours’ drive.</li><li>En-route visit Kosgoda Turtle conservation project and Galle Dutch Fort and its’ fortification.</li><li>You can witness the rescued eggs of Turtles that are hatch safely away from predators before being released into the sea. </li><li>The Portuguese and the Dutch use Galle as the main sea port in the island. A lot of historical, archaeological and architectural colonial remains are there in Galle. Of which the Galle Fort is main and the best. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Even today the colonial era buildings inside the fort, functioning as villas, antique shops, cafes and restaurants without changing its old fashion.
