<ul>Aberdeen falls is 98 m in height. It is the 18th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka located near Ginigathena 19 km from Kitulgala.<br>
<br>During the British period, this fall was named Aberdeen the third-largest city in Scotland. According to the folklore among the villagers in the area that there is a tunnel leading from Aberdeen falls to the neighboring Laxapana falls.
