<p>There are 2 museums in Ratnapura.</p><p><b>Ratnapura Gemmological Museum</b></p><p>It is within the city which displayed precious and semi-precious stones, the history of the industry, the methodology used in the industry, and tools.</p><p><b>National Museum Ratnapura</b></p><p>It is located 4 Km south of Ratnapura, in the Kandyan period building called Ehelepola Walauva which belonged to Ehelepola Maha Adikaram. It exhibits most of the prehistoric archaeological inventions.<br><br><br></p>
