<ul><li>Breakfast at the hotel.<br></li><li>Transfer you to Ella- approximately 2 and half hours’ drive. </li><li>En-route visit to see Buduruwagala rock carvings and Church of the Ascension and the Nazareth Chapel of the Good Shepherd Convent, Bandarawela. </li><li>There are 7 figures caved in the rock face in Buduruwagala. One is a 15.5m height Buddha statue and the other figures are Avalokitesvara, Maitreya, Manjushri, and Tara which all belong to Mahayana Buddhist Tradition.</li><li>Church of the Ascension locally known as “gal palliya” was built in 1909, is a true example of British Gothic architecture in Sri Lanka. Due to its’ location, you will be able to see the entire area of Bandarawela.
