<ul>Negambo is a famous diving site in Sri Lanka. During the months from October to March Negambo beach and the surrounding sea is perfect for the safe diving experience. The different dive sites are located 5 km to 22 km away from the shore. The depth you can dive varying from 2 m to 30 m on those sites.<br>
<br>The famous dive sites are <i>Diyamba Gala, Mutian Gala, Goda Maha Gala, Ula Gala, Mutu Paraya (Pear Reef), Diyamba Suda (Third Reef), and Maha Gala.</i> During your dive, you will be able to explore rich marine life, beautiful aquatic wildlife and corals and rocks, and the caves at the bottom of the sea. <ul>Hikkaduwa is the next world-famous surfing site in Sri Lanka other than Arugam Bay. The season is from November to April. There are many surfing schools in Hikkaduwa to teach how to do this old art of wave riding.<br>
<br>The main surfing locations in Hikkaduwa are Benny’s, Main Reef, Beach Break, and North Jetty.<br>

<ul>Pigeon Island marine national park contains one of the best remaining coral reefs of Sri Lanka. Reef's environment undersea in the area is an amazing natural and charming treasure. It is home to dozens of beautiful corals and hundreds of exotic marine species. Thus, it is a stunning place for scuba diving and snorkeling.</br>
<br>A few kilometers north of Nilaveli, there is another island called Coral Island which unlike Pigeon Island cannot be landed on, but which has a well-preserved reef containing the beautiful cabbage coral and a marvelous variety of dazzling tropical fish. Coral Island has considered the best snorkeling site in Sri Lanka by many snorkeling enthusiasts.
