Decsription

<p>Oluvil lighthouse was built in 1999. It was the first lighthouse built after the British colonial era.<br>Sangamankanda Point is the east most point in Sri Lanka. The Sangamankanda Point lighthouse was built in 1947 with a height of 7.62 m. During the 2004 Tsunami, it was destroyed and the only pillar of the lighthouse is available.
