A lot of residents and migratory birds and crocodiles would be able to see at the “Kumana Villu” area. <br></li><li>Afternoon visit Kudumbigala Buddhist Monastery at the top of a rock, about 26 Km south of Arugam Bay. It is about 2 hours hike to the top of the rock and the view from the top is amazing. </li><li>On the way from kudumbugala to Arugam Bay, the unique village of Panama is found. This is the one and the only village that inhabitants though predominantly Sinhala are all Tamil speaking (as a mother tongue). Approximately 5 and a half hours’ drive.</li><li>En-route visit to explore Batticaloa Fort, Batticaloa Lighthouse, Oluwil Lighthouse, and Sangamankanda Point Lighthouse.</li><li>Batticaloa Fort was first built by the Portuguese in 1628 and it was destroyed by the Dutch in 1639. The Dutch have renovated and completed it in 1707. Batticaloa Lighthouse was built in 1913.</li><li>Oluwil lighthouse was built in 1999. It was the first lighthouse built after the British colonial era.</li><li>Sangamankanda Point is the east most point in Sri Lanka. The Sangamankanda Point Lighthouse was built in 1947 with a height of 7.62m. <ul><li>Early morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak and witness the sunrise at the top of the peak.</li><li>Little Adams Peak in Ella is about 1,141 m in height, not that much higher than the famous Adam’s Peak, recorded at 2,243 m in height, and a considerably tougher and longer hike. Therefore, hiking to Little Adam’s Peak is not that difficult, and it takes only 3 hours for both the up and down. If you are witnessing the sunrise at the top of the peak, you will be mesmerised by the scenic beauty of the surroundings.</li><li>Late breakfast at the hotel.</li><li>Explore the Ravana Ella waterfall, the "Nine Arch Bridge," and the "Demodara Loop", the icons in Ella.
