<ul><li>Breakfast at the hotel.</li><li>Transfer you to Arugam Bay. Approximately 5 and a half hours’ drive.</li><li>En-route visit to explore Batticaloa Fort, Batticaloa Lighthouse, Oluwil Lighthouse, and Sangamankanda Point Lighthouse.</li><li>Batticaloa Fort was first built by the Portuguese in 1628 and it was destroyed by the Dutch in 1639. The Dutch have renovated and completed it in 1707. Batticaloa Lighthouse was built in 1913.</li><li>Oluwil lighthouse was built in 1999. It was the first lighthouse built after the British colonial era.</li><li>Sangamankanda Point is the east most point in Sri Lanka. The Sangamankanda Point Lighthouse was built in 1947 with a height of 7.62m. During the 2004 Tsunami, it was destroyed and now the only pillar of the lighthouse can be seen.</li><li>Overnight dinner and stay at The Blue Wave, Arugam Bay.</li></ul>
