DAY - 3 (Mannar – Jaffna) |

<ul><li>Breakfast at the hotel.<br></li><li>Explore Mannar old lighthouse, Urumale, and Talaimannar lighthouse.</li><li>Mannar old lighthouse is inactive at present and only the iron structure is available.</li><li>Thalaimannar lighthouse is located near Talaimannar pier.</li><li>Then explore the Mannar fort which has square-shaped with four bastions. It was first built by the Portuguese in 1560 and rebuilt by the Dutch in 1696. </li><li>Then transfer you to Jaffna. Approximately 2 hours’ drive. </li><li>En-route visit Pooneryn fort, probably first built by the Portuguese.</li><li>Overnight stay and dinner at the Fort Hammenhiel Resort in Karainagar.</li><li>Fort Hammenhiel was firstly built by the Portuguese then the other two colonizers use it for different purposes. In 1970 it was used as a prison. However, today it is a Tourist Resort where you can experience real-time living and sleep within an actual cell.</li></ul> |

DAY - 4 (Jaffna) |

<ul><li>Breakfast at the hotel.<br></li><li>Visit to explore the Point Pedro Lighthouse, Kankesanthurai Lighthouse, and Kovilan Point Lighthouse. </li><li>Point Pedro Lighthouse was built in 1932. Kankesanthurai Lighthouse (Lighthouse KKS) was built in 1893 whereas Kovilan Point Lighthouse built in 1916 which is near to the famous Casuarina Beach in Karainagar considered to be the best beach in Jaffna peninsula.</li><li>Then visit to explore Jaffna Fort. Approximately 30min. drive from Karainagar.</li><li>As usual Jaffna fort also firstly built by the Portuguese in 1618. Then it was expanded by the Dutch in 1658.</li><li>Bicycle is one of the main modes of transport in Jaffna. To explore the Jaffna culture cycling is the best option. Therefore a cycling tour will start in Jaffna at around 2.30 pm. You will be able to explore Jaffna library, Subramaniyam Park, Old Park, Coastal villages, Rio ice cream, Nallur temple, St James church, St Mary's Cathedral, Buddhist Pagoda, the arc of last kingdom's palace, last king's minister house, and archeological Museum. DAY - 5 (Jaffna - Delft - Jaffna) |

<ul><li>Early breakfast at the hotel.<br></li><li>Visit full-day safari at Delft Island. Transfer you to Kurikkaduwan Jetty, 1 and a half hours’ drive from the hotel where the ferry service starts to Delft Island. </li><li>Delft Island is about 35 Km away from Jaffna mainland. The corals and limestone made the base of the island. The roots of Portuguese and Dutch occupancy on the island are more prominent. The Fort, Hospital, Castle, Horse breeding centre, and Pigeon houses with a stone cote are among the archaeological remains of the colonial period. </li><li>Part of the Island nominated as Delft Island National Park. There are about 450 wild ponies, believed to descend from horses kept on the island from the time of Portuguese occupancy are significant in this National Park.</li><li>The Van was arranged at the island for an Island tour. You can visit Koneshwaram Hindu Temple situated atop of the Swami Rock is a classical medieval Hindu Temple devoted to God Shiva, containing ornate shrines and a massive statue of Shiva and nearby Lovers’ Leap or Ravana’s cleft at Swami Rock is a rock cleft approximately 106.68m above sea level. </li><li>Then explore Fort Frederick or Trincomalee fort first built by the Portuguese, completed in 1624, and was dismantled and rebuilt by the Dutch in 1665. They renamed it, Fort Fredrick. </li><li>Then try for another boat ride close to Round Island in the bay of Trincomalee to explore presently inactive Kevuliya Lighthouse (Round Island Lighthouse). The Dutch have renovated it and completed in 1707. Batticaloa Lighthouse was built in 1913.</li><li>Oluwil lighthouse was built in 1999. It was the first lighthouse built after the British colonial era.</li><li>Sangamankanda Point is the east most point in Sri Lanka. You will be able to see leopards, elephants, and other animals and birds. A lot of residents and migratory birds and crocodiles would be able to see at the “Kumana Villu” area. </li><li>Afternoon visit Kudumbigala Buddhist Monastery at the top of a rock, about 26 Km south of Arugam Bay. It is about 2 hours hike to the top of the rock and the view from the top is amazing. </li><li>On the way from kudumbugala to Arugam Bay, the unique village of Panama is found. This is the one and the only village that inhabitants though predominantly Sinhala are all Tamil speaking (as a mother tongue). A lot of historical, archaeological, and architectural colonial remains are there in Galle. Of which the Galle Fort, UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site is the main and the best. It is Asia's largest remaining fortress built by European occupiers. Even today the colonial-era buildings inside the fort, function as villas, antique shops, cafes, and restaurants without changing their old fashion.</li><li>Galle lighthouse the oldest in Sri Lanka was built in 1848 located in the Galle Fort area. However, the present lighthouse was erected in 1939 due to the old one was destroyed by fire in 1934.</li><li>Then transfer you to Colombo.
