  • You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo at 6.00 am. Transfer you to Sigiriya. Approximately 3 and a half hours drive.

  • En route visit Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs. These tombs belong to the megaliths prehistoric period between 750-400 BC in Sri Lanka.

  • Dambulla Cave Temple (also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla), the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka is located in a vast isolated rock mass towering 160 m. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding countryside. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, the ceiling of which is one large sweep of colourful paintings, depicting Buddhist mythology and tales of the Buddha’s previous birth. Some of them are over 2000 years old.
